Turkey’s welded pipe exports down 41.3 percent in January
In January this year, Turkey’s welded pipe exports amounted to 121,381 metric tons, down 41.3 percent year on year and rising by 20.1 percent compared to December, while the value of these imports totaled $133 million, down 36.3 percent year on year and increasing by 9.9 percent month on month, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In January, Turkey’s welded pipe exports to the US amounted to 19,088 mt, up 164.8 percent year on year. The US was followed by Iraq and Morocco, with respectively 13,645 mt and 11,294 mt of welded pipe imported from Turkey in the given period.
