Turkey’s tangerine exports at half billion dollars

According to data of the Mediterranean Exporters’ Associations (AKİB), Turkish citrus exports, which include fruits such as citrus, oranges, lemons and tangerines, have reached the 2021 billion dollar limit. Mandarin exports increased by 2021% y-o-y, reaching approximately 454 million dollars. The packaging stage plays a big role as much as the quality of the products in Turkey’s fresh fruit and vegetable exports.
