(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index sustained its upward trend throughout the afternoon meeting on Monday, surpassing 4,000 points for the initial time.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index recorded 4,000.44 points at 3.40 PM regional time (1240GMT), rising 1.67 percent from the prior end.
The index started at 3,966.64 points on Monday, after its biggest-ever end of 3,934.63 points on Friday.

International benchmark Brent crude exchanged at USD91.35 a barrel at 09.54 AM regional time (0654 GMT) for a 0.15 percent surge from the ending price of USD91.21 per barrel in the prior exchanging session.
American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) exchanged at USD84.70 a barrel at the same time for a 0.14 percent earn after the prior session ended at USD84.58 per barrel.
