Turkey’s Decision will Affect Pakistan Troop Deployment

Islamabad, PAKISTAN, November 14, 2003 – A public poll in Pakistan indicated that Turkey’s decision not to send troops to Iraq will be influential in Pakistan’s decision.

According to the poll, published in one of Pakistan’s prominent newspapers The Nation, 73 percent of participants think that Turkey’s decision will be influential over Pakistan and that Pakistan would not send troops to Iraq. 26 percent think that Turkey’s decision will not be influential.
