(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index stood at 2,571.57 points at Thursday’s end, rising 1.23 percent.
Opening Thursday at 2,548.64 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 31.21 points from the prior end of 2,540.36 points.
The index’s worst price throughout the day was 2,511.36 points, whereas its day-to-day peak was 2,575.28 points.
The entire market worth of the BIST 100 was about 2.09 trillion Turkish liras (USD121.66 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchange capacity of 46.5 billion Turkish liras (USD2.7 billion).
Throughout the day, 67 shares on the index increased, 29 dropped and four were stable in contrast to the prior end.
The cost of an ounce of gold was USD1,846.95, whereas Brent crude oil traded at about USD123.5 a barrel at 6.54 PM regional time (1554GMT).
