Turkey’s Automotive Exports Set New Record in 2003

In comparison, subcontractors for governmental paperwork did business worth $2 billion 390 million dollars in 2003, representing an increase of 25,7%.

While the most export growth appeared in tractors and railroad vehicles, regression was registered only in the export of aerospace products.

Exports reached US$ 754 million dollars, increasing 51% in December, compared to $500 million 780 thousand dollars in 2002.

Increase in exports were recorded as 69,5% in January, 37,4 % in February, 52,2% March, 80,2 % in April, 42,9 % in May, 67,6 % in June, 60,4 % in July, 67% August, 49% in September, 37% in October and 13 % in November.
