Turkey world’s 17th largest economy

The report, entitled “The World Fact Book”, ranked Turkey, with its $468 billion Gross Domestic Product (GDP) according to purchasing power parity and its $7,000 national income per capita as being the 17th largest economy in the world.
The US economy was rated the world’s largest, followed by China and Japan. Directly above Turkey in 16th position was Australia and in 18th spot according to the CIA report was Iran.
