Turkey travel rush hits its peak today, FAA says
If you’re traveling on an airplane today, you are not alone and you may need some extra luck.
While AAA says the Thanksgiving travel week begins on Wednesday, the FAA says that air travel will hit its peak on Tuesday.
According to the FAA’s Thanksgiving 2022 Air Travel Forecast, more than 48,000 flights are expected to take off nationwide today.
That’s apparently at least 1,000 more flights than any other day of this week.
