Turkey Tourist Arrivals Fall 5% in July


The number of foreign visitors to Turkey slumped by 5% year-on-year to 6.97 million in July 2025, marking a third consecutive monthly decline.

Notable decreases were recorded in arrivals from Tunisia (-20.7%), Italy (-20.1%), Libya (-17.4%), and the UK (-9.7%).

Meanwhile, the largest share of foreign tourists came from Luxembourg (16.5%), Finland (13.9%), and Sweden (2.2%).

Among the destinations, Antalya was the most popular, accounting for 37% of all foreign arrivals, followed by Istanbul with 27%, Iderne with 10.2%, and Mugla with 9.2%.

In the January to July period, total foreign arrivals fell by 2.1% from a year earlier to 28.37 million.
