Turkey to seek NATO help in event of war

Turkey, a member of the NATO alliance, appears more willing to act under a United Nations resolution in order to meet American requests for support. However, Ankara had earlier voiced concern that possible NATO support would mean deploying more forces from other countries on Turkish soil.
