Turkey to host the Champions League Final

Maybe this will be an incentive.

UEFA Vice President Senes Erzik stated earlier today that UEFA’s executive committee took their time to deliberate and examine various competing proposals. Erzik expressed his pleasure with the final outcome and praised all those who had worked to make this possible. ”This would not have been possible without the hard work of everyone. We can better appreciate the UEFA General Secretariat once again. They carefully scrutinized each country’s proposal. There were alternatives, but thankfully our suggestion won in the end.”

Erzik stated that he was glad for Turkey and Ataturk Olympic Stadium and said, “It is very important that UEFA has decided to host such an important final in our country. This is a first for our region, even including Balkans. It is also bodes well for Turkey’s membership process to E.U.”
