Turkey to construct hospital in Iraq

ANKARA (AA) – Ankara transfered $4 million to Ministry of Housing and Public Works to build the hospital in Iraq under the framework of humanitarian aid.

Turkey had allocated 5$ million budget for reconstruction of Iraq and $1 million of money was sent to the United Nation as monetary. Remaining budget will be used for building two hospitals in Baghdad and city of Kirkuk.

Ministry will open a bid for construction of the hospitals and after completion of the building, Ministry of Health will go to tender for medical supplies.

Meanwhile for personnel who will work in the hospitals, seminars will be held in Turkey and Baghdad.
