Turkey Signed the European Constitution

The European Constitution was signed in Rome by the heads of state and government of 28 countries, while Turkey celebrated its Republic’s Day.

The Constitution signed in Campidoglia will be put into effect after being adopted by the parliaments or referenda of member countries. Besides Turkey, two other candidates, Bulgaria and Romania signed the document.
