Meanwhile, envoys of the Quartet of Middle East negotiators, which brings together EU, U.S., Russia and UN will meet today in a last-minute effort to resume peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians and prevent a dispute within United Nations, a European diplomat said yesterday.

The meeting takes place in New York two days after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he would ask the full recognition for the Palestinian Territories when you go to the General Assembly this week, predicting a diplomatic row with Israel and the U.S..
