Turkey produces 28.1 million tons of cement in 2003

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey produced 28.1 million tons of cement in 2003, and 7.3 million tons of the output was exported.

In 2002, Turkey produced 26.2 million tons of cement, and exported 5.5 million tons of it.

Turkish Cement Producers’ Association told the A.A on Sunday that most of the production was made at the cement factories in northwestern Marmara region.
