Turkey May Delay Vote on US Troops

Mr. Babacan said Turkish and U.S. officials have not yet decided on the size of an aid package design to help Turkey’s already frail economy overcome the effects of a possible war.
The United States has been pressing Turkey to allow tens of thousands of U.S. troops to be stationed in the country to be able to open a second, northern front in any war against Iraq.
