Turkey Is Second Cheapest Country in OECD

The January 2003 results of the monthly OECD study aimed at determining the comparative price levels of countries have been announced. The most expensive country of the OECD is once again Japan. Turkey is the second cheapest country, while the Republic of Slovakia is the most inexpensive.

In December Turkey was in third place following Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Turkey became less expensive that the Czech Republic after changes in price levels were experienced in January.
