Turkey: Fire in Gebze paint factory

An explosion has caused a fire at HOB Paint Factory in Gebze Organized Industrial District (GOID) and latest reports say that the fire has spread to tanks full of chemicals.

The cause of the explosion that happened at 3.30 p.m. is yet unknown and fire fighter are trying to control the damage.

There is no information on whether there have been any casualties, but hospitals are ready to receive the injured.
