Turkey filling the salt gap in Iraq

Turkish exporters are sending salt from production facilities in Ankara’s Serefli Kochisar district to Iraq in 10 to 15 trucks daily through the Habur border crossing.

Turkish truck driver Ahmet Atak said he had been transporting salt to Iraq for 10 days and noted that it was in great demand in the neighboring country.
