Turkey: Anti-war supporters hold protest in Ankara

ANKARA (AA) – Ankara anti-war platfor supporters held a demonstration in front of the Parliament today.

The group, which started the demonstration from Dikmen, is stopped by the security forces.

“Turkey won’t be a US soldier once more,” Human Rights chairman Ender Buyukculha said in the name of the group.

The group asked the deputies to stand against sending soldiers to Iraq. “This country and this public is not for sale,” said Buyukculha.
