"TSK supports Turkey’s EU membership"

Speaking to Elefterotipiya newspaper, Ozkok stated that TSK gives full support to Turkey’s EU bid and reforms that was made under the frame of Copenhagen criteria.

Ozkok stresses that TSK believed in that Turkey’s membership to EU would increase its life standarts and quality, so it gave full support of its EU bid.

Asked whether the EU had pre-conditions for Turkey’s EU membership, Ozkok responded, "No, there is no pre-conditions. Of course there will be opposite opinions in democratic society, but 70 percent of Turkish people support EU bid, but some can have objections regarding procedure."
