Train accident in Tavsancil

Yucedag gave testimony at the Gebze Court after he was discharged from Kartal Lutfi Kirdar Hospital.

Following his testimony, Yucedag was arrested and sent to Gebze Prison.

Baskent Express and Adapazari Express crashed head-on in Tavsancil on August 11 and in the accident eight people were killed and 88 others were injured.

Preliminary reports said the Baskent Express had not stopped at a red light, causing the head-on crash with the Adapazari Express.
