Tradesman hold protest to open bordergate in Arasta

The protestors chanted anti-government slogans as blaming the officials for the poor conditions. The protestors carrying sledgehammers marched to barricades dividing Greek and Turkish side in the region. They said the historical city would atract attention of the foreigners as much as Greek Cypriots.
Turkish Cypriot authorities lifted restrictions on travelling between the north and south of the island in April.
