Three Turkish lorry drivers killed in Iraq
Sources said that around 4 thousand people attacked on the refinery due to an unknown reason and three lorry drivers died in the attack.
The sources noted that many lorries were damaged in the attack.
There was not any clear information about whether or not any people died in the attack.
After the news on attack was received, Turkish Embassy in Baghdad have contacted officials of Iraqi interim governing council and asked them to take necessary measures.
Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday that attacks, which were launched on some lorries in Iraq yesterday, were not only on Turkish lorries.
Gul replied to questions of reporters prior to Justice and Development Party (AK Party) group meeting. He said that the incident was not only directed against Turkish lorries and added that officials were following the events closely.
Gul did not reply to questions regarding the motion on sending soldiers to Iraq.
