Thousands marched to support Denktas in Turkey

Thousands of people marched in Mersin city to show their support Turkish for Cypriot leader Rauf Denktas his thesis against European Union and UN offer ahead of the general elections in the mid of the current month.
Dozen members of political parties, non-govermental organizations and municipality marched arm to arm in the demonstration, kicked off at a local facility and continued before the Republic monument in the province’s Anamur district, the closest point to the island from Turkey.
