TDK: Only Turkish Names for Public Places

The council had petitioned parliament for non-Turkish names to be prohibited in public places with the justification of "protection of Turkish" and "preventing cultural estrangement". In addition, the TDK pointed out that queries around the authenticity of Turkish names and Turkish grammar could be handled by consulting the Turkish Language Institution.
