Syrian President ASAD to come to Turkey
ANKARA (AA) – Asad, who will pay his first visit to Turkey, will meet with President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and other officials. He will start his meetings on January 6.
Asad, who will sign some bilateral cooperation agreements, will proceed to Istanbul to meet with some business circles after completing his meetings in Ankara.
A Syrian prime minister had visited Turkey in July for the first time in 17 years. Then Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Miro had held meetings in Ankara and Istanbul.
