Suicide bomb attack kills US soldier, injures dozens

"Dozens of US Hummerjeeps were badly destroyed in the attack. One US soldier was killed and many others were wounded. Three Iraqi civilians were injured as well," said Jasim Abdullah, an Iraqi eyewitness.

The vehicle wreckage was carried from the scene of the explosion. US military sources were not available immediately for comment.
