Snowstorms re-paralysing Turkey

Many streets turned white and impromptu sledding hills just like nearly three weaks ago. Then, hundreds of accidents were reported and a few people were frozen to death because of snowstorm and freezing temperature.
But this time, municipal teams took wide measures across the city. Traffic policemen checked all vehicles whether drivers have necessary equipments or not. There is no complaining about the teribble traffic jams.
The governorship declared a two-day snow holiday for schools.
Poor weather conditions forced most people to remain indoors as municipal crews spent the day and evening applying anti-icing material in high-risk areas such as bridges, hills and curves. Hovewer, generally in Turkey, hundreds of roads linking the remote neighbourhoods to central areas were closed owing to snow heap.
