Six Iraqis undergo surgery in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (AA) – Six of twelve Iraqis who were brought to Istanbul for medical treatment underwent surgical operation.

Medical Park Hospital Director General Reha Ozkaya said on Tuesday that doctors operated on two persons and a child of six Iraqi patients who were staying at their hospital.

Ozkaya said that an Iraqi person who was blind because of tumor in his brain underwent surgery and started to gain his ability to see.

Ozkaya noted that they decided that one of the Iraqi patients could not undergo a surgery.

Meanwhile, three of the six other Iraqi patients staying at the Memorial Hospital also underwent surgical operations.
