Simitis: We Will Recognize the Results of Elections

As opposed to the remarks of EU Commissioner Gunther Verheugen, Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis said that they would recognize the results of the elections in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) no matter who won.
