Silvio Berlusconi in Istanbul

Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, State Minister Kursad Tuzmen, Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler and Italian Ambassador in Ankara Vittorio Surdo welcomed Berlusconi at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport before departing for Lutfi Kirdar Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Two packages, expected to be wedding presents, were brought from the back door of the plane, before Berlusconi’s arrival.
