Shorooq Partners makes first Turkey investment

UAE-based fund manager Shorooq Partners had led a US$5 million fundraise for Roamless, a Turkey-based travel connectivity platform.

The investment is Shorooq’s first venture in Turkey. Other participants in the transaction included Paribu Ventures, Deba Ventures, Finberg and Revo Capital.

“This investment reflects our confidence in Roamless’s potential and our commitment to nurturing Türkiye’s burgeoning tech ecosystem,” said Mahmoud Adi, founding partner of Shorooq Partners.

The funding was welcomed by Emre Demirel, co-founder and chief executive of Roamless.
