Ship sinks in Canakkale Turkey

Liberian-flagged cargo ship, the Solar Europe, broke free of itsmooring at Karabiga port of Canakkale province due to snowstorm andrammed into the St Vincent-flagged "Mare" which was at the same harbour, according to the report.

Mare sank after the collision, said the report, adding that its eleven crew members were rescued and one Syrian crew member was missing.
