Shiites Gather for Imam Hussein’s Commemoration Ceremony

Participants in the ceremony, which is due to end tomorrow, said that the Iraqi people had never tolerated invasion or invaders and were displaying this attitude with their slogans against both the United States and Saddam Hussein.

Most of the media stationed in Bagdat (Baghdad) traveled to Karbala in the early morning hours today to observe the ceremony.
