Sharon Prepares to Meet with Abbas in Ramallah

An official from Ariel Sharon’s entourage, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: "The Prime Minister told Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) during the summit in Sharm El-Sheikh that he is ready to meet with him in Ramallah."

Israeli Prime Minister Sharon and Palestinian President Abbas had announced yesterday at the summit that "they will stop all military action and violent incidents against each other" in order to revive the Middle East peace negotiations.
