Sharon: Israel’s Nuclear Policy will not Change

Sharon spoke to the Army radio hours before the visit of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director Mohammed Al Baradei. Sharon said that Israel’s ‘nondisclosure’ policy would be maintained and that Israel has all the weapons it needs to protect itself.

Sharon added that he has no information about the purpose of Baradei’s visit.

Baradei is not expected to visit the nuclear reactor in the town of Dimona in the Negev desert.

While Israel neither confirms nor denies that it has nuclear weapons, many international experts believe that Israel has a nuclear arsenal.
