Sezer stresses Turkey’s adherence to "one China" principle

The joint communique signed by the presidents of Turkey and China in 2000 is the guide for developing mutual relations between the two countries, Sezer said.

The ties between Turkey and China have been going on in a smooth way without any problems, the president said, adding that Turkey hopes to further strengthen the political ties between Ankara and Beijing.
He pointed out that Turkey and China would further develop the existing economic and trade relations and the ties in other fields in the coming years.
