Sezer recieves TAAD delegation

ANKARA (AA) – President Ahmet Necdet Sezer received on Thursday the Federation of Turkish-American Associations Delegation headed by Kayaalp Buyukataman.

Responding to questions of journalists asking if the issue of sending soldiers to Iraq came to agenda during the meeting, Buyukataman said that "Mr. President who respects international law and human rights, thinks that the final decision had to be given by the parliament."

Guney Adak, who is one of the members of the delegation said that they told President Sezer that steps had to be taken to protect the national interests of Turkey, commenting that "a decision that is given is better than any decision that is not given. Even a wrong decision is better than indecision."
