Sezer: EU membership is a national goal

ANKARA (AA) – President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said that Turkey’s membership to the European Union is a national goal supported by all sections of society.

President Sezer, in the message he published for Europe Day (May 9), said that Europe Day has been celebrated annually in Turkey since 2000.
