Security forces impound 54,5 kg heroin in Mersin

MERSIN (AA) – Security forces impounded 54.5 kg of heroin in an operation in southern province of Mersin on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched a lorry.
They confiscated 54.5 kg of heroin in the vehicle.
Three people were detained in the operation.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
