Schröder: We Cannot Turn Down Turkey
It is obvious that Turkey is trying to generate a society out of a synthesis of Islam and Western values under the present Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan.
Schröder said that if Turkey became successful in generating this synthesis then she would contribute a lot to the security of Europe. Therefore, according to Schröder EU should not turn down Turkey.
