When the insvestigation is ended, we will let the public learn the results we achieve. But, we have some tips suggesting the assailants were pro-Saddam regime."
The leader of SCIRI stressed, "according to our inspects, this attack was prompted in order to create a chaos in the country. All information we have proves this reality. Terrorist organizations are peril sources for our community, our relgious functionaries, holy tombs… We have to be ready against all dangerous situations."
Upon a question whether Shiites will give up armed struggle, he said, "What can we do when we give up our guns? We keep our guns at hand as long as we are not sure about the security in the country. We have no problem with American soldiers nor we don’t intend to use the weapons against them. But, the greatest problem in Iraq is security. We cannot improve others fields if we don’t secure safety in the country… An army never can provide security in a country. Also, in Iraq, to secure safety is not responsible of US army but Iraqis must themsleves. USA, following a wrong policy, causes life loss of more civilians day by day."
He added, commenting of sending of Turkish soldiers into Iraq, "there is no need more foreign troops in the country. It is not important at which region they will be sitationed. The actual important thing is that Iraqis take administration initiative without any foreign interfere."
