Russia’s Putin Signs Kyoto Protocol
A Kremlin statement issued earlier today reads that the President signed the Protocol last night. It was approved in Duma, a subwing of the Russian Parliament, and the Federal Council.
The Protocol was sent to Putin on October 27th for final approval.
The Kyoto Protocol envisages that industrialized countries reduce the release of erroneous gasses to the atmosphere. Erroneous gases such as carbon-dioxide cause a green house effect that is produces global warming.
