Russian TNK Plans to Enter Turkish Petroleum Market

In news reported from Moscow that appeared in yesterday’s edition of the paper and was based on a statement issued by TNK, Viktor Vekselberg, chairman of the TNK board, reportedly met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding TNK’s participation in privatization bids for Turkish oil refineries. According to the statement, the agreement will be conducted as a combined joint venture.
