Russia will Support new Palestinian Administration

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Lavrov earlier today in Moscow.

At the beginning of the meeting, Lavrov issued a press release and announced active Russian support for Palestinians. He extended Russia’s hopes for peace in the region as a result of the Palestinian elections held on January 9.
