Rotarians: Prejudices Surrounding Us Dispelled

Metin explained that he had invited Erdogan and Arinc to the 2430th Rotary Region meeting because of their positions and responsibilities. When asked by a journalist how the Rotarians had reacted to the politicians’ visit, he said: "We didn’t get any reactions. We have friends in the region who have questions in their minds. Rotarians act in a respectful way, as is required by the position they hold. A total of 150,000 Rotarians welcomed Erdogan and Arinc with a standing ovation. I thank the prime minister and speaker of parliament for the worth they have given the Rotary family."
