Root Cell Transplant Defeats Cancer

Ankara University School of Medicine Hematology Department Faculty Member Prof. Gunhan Gurman informed earlier about studies done at the root cell transplant unit established in 1988.

Gurman explained that with this transplantation, it was observed that root cells not only replaced defective bone marrow, but also affected malignant tissue in the body. Gurman said that the immunity characteristics of root cells eliminate diseases such as leukemia. Immunotherapy has proven to be effective with cancer patients.
