Rice to Visit Pakistan in March

Diplomatic circles in a statement made to Cihan news agency said that the Secretary would also visit India and Pakistan. This scheduled visit will be the "first visit of the second Bush term at the White House".

The new US Secretary of State will meet with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Sevket Aziz, and her Pakistani counterpart Hurshid Kasuri. In bilateral talks, the Pakistan-India peace process, the Iranian nuclear program, the fight against terrorism, and the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the final point reached on Pakistani education reforms will be on the agenda.
