Relatives of a Turkish Air Force pilot killed in 1996 to Sue Greece
One of the pilots ejected from the stricken jet, while the other perished.
Last week the country’s former Air Force chief said he believes the plane was downed by a Greek jet fighter.
The two countries have long disagreed over the limits of their respective airspace. Greece claims a 16 kilometer zone, while Turkey recognizes a 9.6 kilometer boundary.
The deceased pilot’s family said they will file suit in the European Court of Human rights.
